Hotel Rwanda

The movie Hotel Rwanda is based on the story of Paul Rusesabagina, a hotel manager that protected more than 1,200 refugees during the '94 civil war that took the lives, mostly using machetes, of more than 1,000,0000 people and led to what is describes as the biggest exodus of modern history. The movie has a made-for-tv feel to it. The photography and script aren't memorable, but the plot is. A rather depressing story about how cruel we can be.
