Epiphanies and orgasms have similar qualities. You can tell when they are about to happen. You work really hard without considering how tired you are. You focus just on getting to it. You hit bliss, and there you know there is nothing better to be found. You feel happy, in peace, a pleasant feeling. You cuddle a little bit, and slowly the feeling goes away.
Where does the difference lies? Well, orgasms are what makes you want to have sex. Proyecting the relationship would lead to saying that epiphanies make you want to go on intellectual pursuits.
