Interpol is a scene-defining band. Their particular sound is unmistakable: minimalist repetitive guitars, a central bass line and one of the most interesting lead voices out there.
Finally they came to town; with their distinctive Indie New York style clothes they rocked. Their sounds was impeccable, and their only flaw was having way too many excellent songs, more than they could have played in a show.
And now I can't get their hypnotic guitar out of my head.
