It seems that everyone's favorite bivalve makes great sushi. These North-West coast animals have found their way into Asian cuisine. According to my research, it has sweet flavor and a crunchy texture. A great deal of geoduck recipes can be found on the internet. Some like it
stir-fried while others prefer
to play with their food.
They are the official mascot of the
Evergreen State College who have dedicated a song to
Panopea abrupta .
Go, Geoducks go,
Stretch your necks when the tide
